Just original files properly validated by the designated authorities of the State Governments and issued Indian Apostille stamp by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Apostille is done on the reverse side of the original record by affixing an unique sticker with unique number. The applicants require to send the adhering to documents/fees as authorized by MEA

Apostille Procedure:
Apostille from MEA can be done after attestation from appropriate State Govt. authorities. Apostille Certificate Attestation treatment is needed when an individual requirement legalization of his document to be used in a participant country of Hague Convention. The process of Apostille of certifications from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of Government of India can be done on all Indian Certificates.

Action 1-- Verification of Records
All original documents/copies requiring Apostille/attestation from MEA should be first verified by the designated authorities of the State/Union Region from where the file is issued.

For Educational documents, The files need to initially be proven by the Education and learning Division/ Human Resource Growth (HRD) of the concerned State Government/Union Region. The verification needs to be finished with the name as well as classification seal in addition to the seal of the Division.

For Non-Educational documents, Residence Department or General Administration Department (GAD) of the providing State Government/Union Region is the marked authorities to undertake the main attestation. The attestation needs to be finished with the name as well as classification seal in addition to the seal of the Division.

Commercial DocumentsThese are to be pre-authenticated by the respective Chambers of Business. The rubber stamp of the corresponding Chamber of Commerce need to be attached on each file together with the name & designation of licensed signatory.
