Apostille Procedure:
Apostille from MEA can be done after attestation from relevant State Govt. authorities. Apostille Certificate Attestation treatment is required when an individual demand legalization of his file to be used in a member nation of Hague Convention. The process of Apostille of certificates from Ministry of External Matters (MEA) of Federal government of India can be done on all Indian Certificates.

Step 1-- Verification of Papers
All original documents/copies needing Apostille/attestation from MEA have to be first validated by the designated authorities of the State/Union Area from where the record is provided.

For Educational records, The records need to first be testified by the Education and learning Department/ Personnel Development (HRD) of the worried State Government/Union Region. The authentication should be done with the name and classification seal along with the seal of the Division.

For Non-Educational papers, Residence Department or General Management Division (GAD) of the releasing State Government/Union Region is the assigned authorities to embark on the key attestation. The attestation has to be done with the name and also designation seal as well as the seal of the Division.

Business DocumentsThese are to be pre-authenticated by the particular Chambers of Commerce. The stamp of the particular Chamber of Commerce need to be attached on each document together with the name & classification of licensed signature.
