Apostille is done on the reverse side of the initial paper by affixing an unique sticker label with unique number. The candidates need to submit the following documents/fees as authorized by MEA

Apostille Treatment:
Apostille from MEA can be done after attestation from appropriate State Govt. authorities. Apostille Certification Attestation procedure is needed when an individual demand legalization of his paper to be used in a member country of Hague Convention. The procedure of Apostille of certificates from Ministry of External Matters (MEA) of Government of India can be done on all Indian Certifications.

Action 1-- Authentication of Documents
All original documents/copies requiring Apostille/attestation from MEA need to be first validated by the marked authorities of the State/Union Region from where the file is provided.

For Educational files, The records need to initially be confirmed by the Education and learning Department/ Human Resource Growth (HRD) of the worried State Government/Union Territory. The verification must be made with the name and classification seal along with the seal of the Department.

For Non-Educational papers, Residence Department or General Management Division (GAD) of the releasing State Government/Union Territory is the marked authorities to take on the primary attestation. The attestation should be done with the name and classification seal in addition to the seal of the Division.

Industrial DocumentsThese are to be pre-authenticated by the respective Chambers of Commerce. The rubber stamp of the corresponding Chamber of Business should be fastened on each document along with the name & designation of accredited signatory.
